A growing church looks to Make Room For Others

When Gateway Church found it’s weekly attendance growing the point of eclipsing the number of seats available during their worship services, a campaign to raise funds to make room for others was naturally the next step. Approval was given for the 3-year building project that would include the addition of a larger sanctuary, nursery, toddler rooms, larger restrooms, lobby, and expansion of the existing cafe. The objective given to KHID by the campaign building committee was to bring in fresh new finishes, textures, and furniture that would create a welcoming environment for its members and visitors alike. Utilizing a careful selection process to incorporate calming neutrals, bold warm and cool hues, luxury vinyl planks, porcelain tile, and a mix of patterned carpet tiles, the space began to come alive. We also chose hand-picked fabrics on unique furniture and stylized light fixtures to round out the design. The eventual result was the formation of a modern and comfortable environment to help them achieve their mission: to connect people with Jesus Christ and one another.
